Five things for October

1. The Walking Dead

…is killing it right now.

found on

The first two episodes totally lived up to my expectations. I know a lot of people disliked last season or at least had qualms about it, but I’ve enjoyed them all. The show is a zombie story, yes, but it’s largely a human story. We can’t have zombie head-bashing scenes every ten seconds. You need conflict and character development and shifting dynamics. Anyway, thus far the season does not disappoint.

2. Celtx

I’ve been writing screenplays for a potential program I’m interested in and I can tell you that Word is a waste of time for that. Screenwriting software is where it’s at. Celtx particularly is rocking my world right now.

3. Kansas

Blame it on the season finales of Supernatural.

4. Turkey Meatloaf

I’m all about a somewhat healthier alternative to comfort food. I’m going to be posting a recipe soon for this delicious loaf. YUM!

5. Alice Madness Returns

Congratulate me. I finally came back to Alice. As I mentioned in my post a long long time ago, I lost a ton of progress in the game and it was a hard pill to swallow. I tried going back to it a couple of times and my computer kept crashing. *Fingers crossed* I never have that problem with this game again. I’ve already surpassed my save point from the first time around. Can’t wait to beat the game.

The couple that games together stays together.

Stay tuned for my Dance With Dragons recap post that I’ve been talking about forever and my Five Things for November. Oh and Happy early Halloween!

I’ve only ever used Final Draft. Is it that much better to use Celtx?

No actually, I’ve heard that Final Draft is better. I think it’s just more expensive. So really you’re very fancy and I’m very cheap. When our powers combine…!
